Steve, do you know that Annie Fallinger has her open garden also next sunday? It is in halfway of both events, you are visiting.

Have fun.

I think Alan's got a really good point there, selling tickets on the door.  The weather often affects what people choose to do .  I know if its raining/ snowing etc I'd much rather be sitting in a cosy lecture theatre listening to some real experts than being at home.  And if its sunny what better way to spend an afternoon than looking round a snowdrop collection   :D :D :D

There may be loads of spontaneous galanthophiles there  ;D

Only problem with that, as we have discovered is catering.

Would get my vote.

Hoping we've got one of our chilli festival stalls coming for some drop weekends, makes amazing Harissa chicken  ;D

Lina,

Yes, hoping to get to Annie's, but dependent on how long it takes to pick up a violin in Haarlem when I leave Kalmthout or whether I can do the pick-up after Dordrecht. Loes and Andre tempted me re the Sunday but I fear I can't change my travel plans at this stage. Still might see you! New avatar here might aid recognition. (The avatar doesn't show the sizeable piece of Border tart I'm holding in the Barn at Beal, close to the Holy Island causeway).

Steve, would be nice if you could make it to Annie's. We will be there at 10. And probably spend there a while.

Have a good trip.

I don't know where time goes Mike, it'll be fun to catch up.   I like the idea of spicy moroccan lamb with home made harissa to keep the weather from being too lowering ::)

Tickets are still selling . Into the 50s now. Just been advertised in local paper with a distribution of fifty thousand  in a free snowdrop pullout .

Any one up for a swap meet while at Shaftesbury ?

Good news about this tickets, re swapping will check what I have in pots, given the conditions  :-\ it's unlikely I will be able to lift anything for a while, just got up and it's chucking it down again....

I'm very pleased tickets are still selling - I thought that would happen as word gets around.

I don't think I have much to swap this year, but I'll take a wander round the garden to make sure.
Almost in Scotland.
