My email from Pam with details of the arrangements arrived at 18:30.  It's the first ever such event where I have been able to do the whole process online.  Some people may not like that but for me it's a plus.
Almost in Scotland.

Emma,  You probably know about this but the email that I got from Avon Bulbs today had a very inspiring promotion of your event.  I hope it leads to a lot of ticket sales.  Here it is:

Events
The weekend before it was Ireland and the Midlands, this weekend it was East Anglia. But a new snowdrop event is being organised in Dorset, that will enthuse anyone who can get there. Shaftesbury is a lovely characterful town and they are holding their 2nd Snowdrop Festival from the 15 Feb - 1st March. The highlight will be a study day with the likes of John Grimshaw talking about Primrose Warburg's Garden (illustrated I hope by his fantastic photos), Melvyn Jope on the autumn flowering forms of snowdrops from his travels in Greece - a ray of sunshine there. Also Andy Byfield on his experiences in Turkey - he will no doubt be as entertaining and instructive as ever. And we shall be selling, along with several other "'droppers". All this on the 15th February. Do think about coming -you can book online.

Good old Avon Bulbs.  it's last minute but that's just the sort of extra publicity that will help this event along.
Almost in Scotland.

Best wishes for your event, bit far to travel for me especially at this time of year, but wish I was there!

Still blowing a gale here  :(

Hoped the storm would have blown over by morning so will make a decision at 0700 but if winds haven't dropped won't be coming, it's a 5 hour+ round trip and not conditions I would drive in.

after dodging lots of fallen trees in the village had a very windy trip down, but what a great day!

Firstly to put something like that on with a just a few weeks planning was amazing, great venue, speakers, food & as always company. Shame I had to miss the garden visits but having been up very early and a long drive home decided to head back, REALLY hope it'll happen again and I'll stay over to make a weekend of it.

Emma & everyone involved should be very proud.

didn't take many pics, came home with nice stuff.

the white card is from John Grimshaw, Primrose Warbrug used them to send out invites, a perfect snowdrop bible bookmark!
