A glorious morning here today, and the balloon festival is on at Billing Aquadrome, saw about 20 balloons up this morning on my way home from work.

They truly are a spectacular sight. Thanks for the memories Chas. We used to love seeing them go low over our garden in Wymington,  8) 8)

Washed the shading off my greenhouse on Friday.  Temperature got up to 25 C today (outside).  Must have worked, but it was a bit too warm for me to do much in the garden.  We had an overnight low of 2 C one night last week.  Very changeable.

Summer is here at long last Roma.
I started checking all my S/A bulbs today, it was too warm to work in the garden or the greenhouse so just cleaned and checked the pots outwith the greenhouse.

I always have to laugh when people talk about 25'C being unbearable.  ;D ;D  Such a different climate here. ;)
Cheers.

Min winter temp -8 or -9°C. Max summer temp 40°C. Thankfully, maybe once or twice a year only.

Yep it's amazing what you can get used to Anthony.
Even when the temperatures are warm we get a nice breeze from the sea. I can't imagine gardening in really warm temperatures let alone all the watering you would have to do. That must be really hard work in really hot climates. My friend In Tulsa, America has been having record temperatures all year and her grass is brown and the leaves on the trees are falling. I wonder where in the world we would get temperatures that are nice and comfortable and gardening would be perfect.

Paul don't laugh thats the warmest day of the year so far for Aberdeen. The weather this summer has been a wash out like the locals would say. Its hard to think that the year started with a hosepipe ban down south and its been the wettest year for a hundred years.
Roll on next summer, if we get one  ::)

I believe it's quite cold in Canberra just now, so Vivienne's cousin says on Facebook.
