Gala pics 2010
« on: February 13, 2010, 07:49:04 PM »
Hi All

I couldn't decide whether to put these pictures in the events thread or the February thread - and in the end decided to start a new one as hopefully there will be other pictures of the Galanthus gala day added by others?

I wasn't actually at the gala - but here are a few snaps of SRGC members taken at Glen Chantry in the afternoon.

Hopefully someone else took pictures of the plants as I was too busy chatting and eating cake - oh...  what a wonderful selection of cake there was.   ;D

 ;D

I was trying not to get noticed Anthony - do you think it will work next week when I am at Dunblane?  ;)

It was rather chilly - a few people looked like they really needed a warm duvet and hot water bottle.

I'm not in long either.

John I missed saying goodbye. Were you in the house? We could go in because of flight times

;D ;D  Believe it or not I have no idea.  The first picture we took didn't have a plant - and then a kind lady standing near us said "I think you should have a snowdrop in the photograph" and lent us one of hers.  Straight after the photo I handed it back.   ;D

Mark, sorry I missed saying goodbye to you, Margaret and Bob. I meant to head over to the car to see you all off but had to stop off at the toilets and then couldn't resist warming up indoors for a minute, and by the time I got back over to the car park you'd gone. Hope to see Margaret at Margaret Owen's. Shame you won't be there this year.
