I'm getting very envious, still no Crocuses showing for me yet.
You need to water them David. ::)

I keep most of my Autumn flowering Crocus outside and open to the weather and boy, have they been watered ;D

Nothing realy spectacular to report.

My 1st autuum crocus this season is a tiny C. cancellatus ssp. cancellatus.
Unfortunately someone slimy chewed already on the tips >:(
Fortunately, more noses are already visible which gives me hope for a better flowers ;)
Best wishes

well, I cant say every shot was perfect. What really helps is taking a photo that is huge and editing it down. The hoverfly started out as an image 3648 pixels wide = 128.69cm wide = 50.66 inches wide.

Yes, that has really concentrated the image and though the picture is modestly sized, we can clearly see minute details... terrific, isn't it, to be able to produce such images(relatively ! ;) easily oneself, and without masses of equipment , chemicals and a darkroom!)
