Nice one Toolie .... see you are stuck on the same one :)  You'd be the ideal winner though, if the prize is a forum speciality cake you can collect in person ;D

Toolie do I look that old?
If it can be someone that young it might be the Duchman in Gothenburg? But the pic looks older to me.
You did not have an answer on 12 was that deliberately?

This a tricky one
Dave the cake is maked not faked as always :) I know it is made but it does not rime.

Thanks for that Joakim-I missed 12 by mistake and have now amended the error.

Still sticking by my list however.

Cheers Dave.

Dave, if you get the prize I'll promise you a baked (not faked) cake on Friday night. You'll have to share it with everybody though.

Hello, Everyone, sorry for the silence, I've been feeling a bit ghastly again. Ian is grateful for the silence, though, so it's not all bad, as they say.
Well, The race is tied between Tony Goode and Dave Toole; allowing for their coyness about their own photos, they both have seventeen out of eighteen answers correct. But they (and everyone else, actually) have been completely stumped by the cute little guy, now a grown-up forumist who is number fourteen. So I'm offering an alternative tie-breaker here. I want Tony and Dave to tell me WHO the cute guy is in picture fourteen, I will repeat it below AND I want to know who this chap is: He could go by the name of Ivor Biggun, judging by the photo;  he is a forumist and I wait for your guesses.

Now Joakim sets a poser here ... surely he got only one wrong too.  He also fits the bill as now being in another country but even allowing for his origins could 'Blackbeard' really be the cute blonde angel?  He is still my choice for now though (and he really was my first choice until the beard put me off!!)

Jacinta (my other half who has had to put up with my rambling around this test) is sure she knows.  John aka Kent Gardener is her choice and I can see why :) :)

BUT from the first pic this guy might be older than these two... what do you think Toolie?

Tony at that age I did not have a beard :) so do not let that stop You.
Let Toolies non sucsessfull guess on me as 14 stop You.
I have been thinking on persons like Franz in Vienna but I do not know if he changed land. Is land totally synonymos with country? or can land be different parts of a country? I thought so and hence had David Nicolson as 14, that and that he was old on his first pic (family man and not schoolboy) but that was wrong.
I was also thinking on the hansom Dutchman in Gothenburg at least Maggi had expressed him as such. He seems to young for 14 but one never knows!??
For 14 I still do not have a clue and the new one is also a mystery :) or is he?

Cheers  Joakim, HOW did I forget Toolies choice for 14?.... But you posted a red herring comment earlier I think ;)

And To Mrs Maggi - classroom assistant to this thread - I will read the questions more carefully in the next exam .... I now see you want two new names - I think :)

Back to the drawing board for me.  I've got a rare day off work tomorrow I'll give it some more thought then.

Since You had me as You I did not want to make people sure who was tricky or not. I do have a sweet toth so maybe it was not a red herring but just some mist to make it less obvious that it was not me but You in number 4. I have not said anything about Ivor. :)?! Am I just blowing smoke or.....
