For those of you in the UK (and Ireland) who are enjoying the relatively warm and dry spell I'm contemplating putting shade paint on my greenhouse on Monday and you know what that means don't you?

What if David put it on the west side only? We need a break from the sun and warmth.

I did it once, never again but feel free as I have moved many plants this past weekend and desperately need it to rain.  Saying that its Malvern Spring show later this week so rain is guaranteed  :D

Dry in UK???

it's raining since almost 3 weeks in north of france, temperature is round 5°c at night and 9-10° during day.
I would pray any god to have a sweet 18°c and no more rain!!!!
if you really need water i can unwind the hose in the tunnel,  it's just straight the end of street ;D
Even some saxifraga are rotten; never seen that since i began growing alpines 20's back

My 300 gal. water tanks were filled in 4 days.

We were feeling hard done by because the couple of sunny days  we had turned back to cold and wet - but look what my sister and brother-in-law woke up to in Dunedin today - seems the NZ winter is really arrived....
