Anyone else notice a bright yellow spherical object in the sky today, wonder what it could be? :P

Nothing like that here, David. Chucking down all weekend. Getting colder now so perhaps the snow is coming and it may be brighter again...... :-\

It's called the 'snowbringer', David ... beware.  We glimpsed it this morning and now we have quite a covering.

We were down to 24oC today too. Rain forecast tomorrow. If I was in Dunblane that would be a certainty. Here in Auckland it's a maybe not! :)

So much for the fleeting glimpse of the sun yesterday. Back to normal today, mist down from the moor, drizzle and leaden skies. No snow though and I have to say it feels a bit warmer than yesterdays 4C.

Hmm.... it's not the only 'snowbringer', it seems- dull and damp morning here and no sign of the white stuff at all and the next thing I knew there was an inch or so of snow cover. Never even saw it happen!
From indoors it's very pretty.

Wet soggy stuff here, Maggi.   Dripping off the pine trees when I was feeding the ponies and collecting droppings.  Not very pleasant.
