It is really nice, it's always so exciting when the first Hepatica begin to bloom.

These are lovely Michael, something to look forward to for those who received hepatica seed from the exchange.

Michael, the weather here is HORRIBLE - just looking at your hepatica photos again make me feel better - I'm just a bit worried about how mine ( all in the garden) are faring right now.....

Maggi, they are flowering way too early same as last year and probably won't set much seed. The plants in the cold frame were all starting to flower so I had to bring them into the greenhouse to take some pics, I don't like wet knees. The mild spell in early December brought them, I moved them to a colder spot but it didn't work. Those in the garden produced a couple of flowers but quickly went back to sleep when the cold spell started. The forecast says it will get milder on Saturday, hope they are correct.

My goodness! That dark blue nobilis is a cracker, Michael - what photogenic flowers these are. We really need photos to bring such diminutive blooms to our attention, don't we?
