I keep finding out about people who were at the Myddleton House sale that I missed seeing.
Maybe the beard is such a good disguise , they just cant recognise you Alan  ;D

Well, I see Alan has updated his avatar which should help...... at least in winter !  ;)
Now he looks like one snug snowdropper  8)

Emma's snow drop hat is a great  IDEA for ID - I have one myself !

Much as I like Emma's snowdrop hats, they strike me as a little too feminine for all SRGC galanthophile forumists to wear.  So for the present I'll stick to what is locally known as my "Captain Canuckhat" hat - see revised avatar.
Almost in Scotland.

Thanks, Brian.  I thought I had manged to escape being photographed at this event but there I am with Corinne, who is managing a passable imitation of a Galanthophile.
Almost in Scotland.

Thanks Brian - I can just see the side of my head and I have that serious look on my face!  Wish I had got a Trumps from Matt now as mine has not come up.....oh no...not another loss  ::)

Today I was arranging and admiring my new acquisitions and decided to empty the pots that were not showing yet.  Sadly 'Hercules' is a gonner - bought as a dormant bulb, never grew roots and turned to mush.  'Handel' and 'Compton Court' are still firm but growing no roots - would these be suitable to chip now before they turn to mush too?
