Can't see my Outbox????
« on: August 10, 2012, 04:05:24 PM »
Hi,

I get the odd message which I reply to and always save a copy in my outbox. But recently my outbox has disappeared. Where did it go and how do I get it back? Please help. :) :) :)

Maren,

When you go into the "My Messages" section to send a message there is the "message" heading to the upper left, highlighted in orange.  If you hover your mouse over that you get 3 selections pop up, one of which is "sent messages".  If you click on that you get your outbox.  Well that is how it appears for me.

Does that help?
Cheers.

Since the Forum re-vamp, Maren, I think our "Outbox" became renamed as "Sent Items" to be found to the left of the Messages page :

Messages

    New Message
    Inbox
    Sent Items

Have a look to see  if it's there for you.

Aha! I see Paul T has beaten me to the draw- thanks Paul!

The general convention for email is that 'Outbox' designates a temporary holding location for items waiting to be sent and 'Sent Items' designates the final resting place for copies of the emails that have been dispatched.  I guess the forum message folders have just been brought into line with the general convention.
Almost in Scotland.
