Here is flowering my Bessera elegans "purple form"
my "normal" Bessera has not any buds or flowers until today ...

Both forms are very elegant but there is something extra special about the shading on the purple form.

I've never seen
Bessera
before - many thanks Hans for drawing my attention to such a handsome plant. I see that the red form is available quite cheaply from 'Rare Plants'.

Most garden centres in the UK now stock the usual red form - and at about half the price of Rareplants! expect 10 bulbs for about £2.99
