Thank you Giles.  Having visited Wisley last year with the  Nottingham  pre-conference tour, it is wonderful to see your photos.  Please keep up the good work, it is much appreciated.

Giles , also many thanks from me - like Susan from N.Z. I saw Wisley in April last year on the Preconference tour .I particularly liked the Gentiana syringea ( is it a sound perennial ? )and Petrocosmea martinii .

Otto - Gentiana syringea is an annual, but a very wonderful one. I think there was reference to it on the IRG. I have grown it from Aberconwy Nursery, but unfortunately not kept it going from seed.

Lovely to see those pictures from Wisley, even if I only live about 70 miles away! I rather like the troughs and pots and might copy the idea for a display in Kent next year.
