From down under too Mark, I hope your birthday is a happy one. 50th next year? It's all down hill from there, believe me. ;D

Happy birthday, Mark.
As Lesley says, from 50 it is all downhill - but then you get to 65 and Hurrah, it gets fantastic again!!!!

Oh yes? Just when is that David?

Mark, I can only repeat what HRH is said to have said to HM on a down under royal tour years ago, seen by a deaf lip reader. "Perk up sausage, you're drooping a bit."

Lesley, you haven't been paying attention to your SRGC Forum Calendar feature...... it was the 65th Birthday of someone with the initials DS on 19th September!!
Today you will see that it is the birthday of Peter Korn, Jozef Lemmens and Michal Hoppel.......
Many happy returns, Gentleman!!

A very happy birthday from me too, to the gents mentioned above.

Yes Maggi, I realized DS had reached the grand old age, as you well know that I have, but I'm wondering when I can expect it to start getting fantastic? Pretty humdrum so far, (except for plants and compact discs at the govt's expense), especially as I'm still employed.

Well, Lesley, I can promise you that the first month and a half have been 'fantastic'. One of the differences between you and I is that you have been self employed ( I think) whilst I have been working for the gov'nment for the last 25 Years. It really is fantastic to get out. This post could be repeated in the 'Yes, I'm so happy' thread!
