Thanks for all the Birthday greetings, song and cake - all very much appreciated.  Have a bit of a sore head today as a friend turned up with champagne last night  ;D

Fermi, the driver is driving me to Stanstead airport tomorrow and we are off for 14 days plant visiting in Madeira - hoorah!

best wishes

John

A very happy birthday from the bottom half too Shelagh. I hope you have a great day at Hexham tomorrow as well and that you'll have your camera with you.

Funnily enough, yesterday, on your birthday though I didn't know that at the time, (It's Friday here now), I almost bought a black pudding in my supermarket, actually thinking about you as I saw it. Then I decided that I just couldn't. We had chicken and a salad instead.
