Yes I do remember the song Martin. The link brought it all back. I doubt if I'd heard it for 20 years or more.

Wish Yvonne a happy birthday from all here Paul. I agree with Maggi. A cake like that shouldn't wait around.

My little competition will end tomorrow at mid-day (NZ time). I think that's probably 10pm UK time.

Lesley,

OK, I'll do my best to polish the cake off....... Yvonne is in hospital today having surgery on her hand, so I'll have to do the cake munching all by myself!! <evil grin>

Back to the car..... it's small and cute, howabout Elf or Elfin?  Or Shirley? (as in Shirley you could have got a bigger car than that!!?  ::))

I'll stop now.  ;D
Cheers.

I was hoping and fully expecting that Thomas would send me a nice new Opel, but that didn't happen. :'(

Lesley, in fact I had a nice Opel for your Birthday here, but it was to expensive to send it via airmail,
so I decided to send you only some kisses  :-* :-* :-* :-*

There was a cake, but I had to make it!! ;D
Got a few surprise packages in the mail, of course all bulbs!  Some very nice Narcissus and a Crocus that has been on my want list for ages.  Not as impressive as Lesley Cox's car though!

Lesley, a very happy birthday from the other Lesley. I hope you had a great day. You can share Thomas' kisses if you like.

Thomas, thankyou for the thought. Some cars are coming out in an amphibious model. You'll have to try one of those and you can deliver it, next year. ;D ;D

Right, the competition is now over. Thank you all for so many lovely - and crazy suggestions. I've decided on Lola, that lady being quite sexy and playful. Suits me to a tee! :D So Martin, a small something in the post to you. Red would be an appropriate colour? I hope you enjoy it.

You'll be tucked up in bed by now Anthony, so maybe haven't caught up with latest. Vaughn out immediately after lunch 10 mins ago and Cook is just out now. 2 for 82.
It's not being broadcast live on TV this test (why not?) only on Sky which we don't have so I'm listening on the radio. Just as well, I can't afford another 5 days prostrate on the sofa.

Yesss! That's the real reason I like the name Lola - it's a sexy name, and the perfect name for a sexy little red car. Suits you, Lesley!   8)

Lesley, a very happy birthday from the other Lesley. I hope you had a great day. You can share Thomas' kisses if you like.

Lesley (Cox), I have not expected that you're willing to share my kisses with the younger Lesley. But as I have
your permission it's a real pleasure for me, especially now, as I know Lesley loves Crocusses, too!!
 - a belated Happy Birthday to you, Lesley  :-* :-* :-*

AND another Birthday is on todays calendar:

A very happy day John, from me too. I hope you are surviving the lack of snowdrops at this time of year, but the crocuses fill the space MORE than adequately.

Thomas I don't really like sharing your kisses, my good-looking German friend, any more than I like to share the big hugs from my other good-looking friend, in Australia but I try to be generous to anyone in need.
