Although it's still Feb 7th in the UK, it's well into Feb 8th here in New Zealand so I want to be the first to send best wishes for a very happy birthday to my friend David Nicholson in Devon. I hope you have a super day David, with fine, sunny weather, lots of good things to eat, some lovely presents, and the arrival, or soon anyway, of your first contribution from Her Majesty's Government, towards your plant fund. I hope you have many more birthdays to come, all of them happy and healthy and full of crocuses, snowdrops and chocolate cake.

Kindest regards

Lesley

Sorry I must confess, that I seldom look at this topic.
But while searching for some Profile suddenly my eye saw a birthday cake.

Happy Birthday David!

People who get their first contribution from Her Majesty's Government are a special group, aren't they?

Shhhhh!!! No-one's supposed to know about David's recent recruitment into MI6! Happy Birthday Mr Bond! (and at this very moment a goverment super-computer is spotting this mention of MI6 and flagging this posting for a security check).  ;D

Birthday greetings to Rafa too, from down under. I hope you have lots of little daffodils to greet your day.

Martin, PLEASE, PLEEEEEEASE, don't mention Mr Bond, not anywhere I can see it. I can't even say why not, without boring everyone rigid, but I beg of you, don't mention that name. EVER! :-X :-X :-X

First of all Happy Birthday to both Rafa and Dan who share 08/02/08 with me.

Many thanks to friends from all over the world for your best wishes. Thanks to Maggi for the card and the CAKE, and for remembering 'no nuts'. I scoffed most of the cake this afternoon and have just two pieces left one of which is for Maggi because it has chocolate bits on, and the second is for a special lady in New Zealand, enjoy Lesley. (you see I can crawl with the best of 'em!). To the rest of my friends you will have to make do with a virtual drink of choice from your favourite venue and send me the bill (virtual of course!)

I have to run now, dinner out this evening, so will write more tomorrow and then perhaps catch up with Forum activities.
