I'm new here. I live in the Czech Republic. My specializations are hardy succulents of the family Crassulaceae.
Sedum, Sempervivum, Prometheum, Orostachys ............

Thank you for the welcome. My English is not good, I'm sorry.
I use the compiler.

Hello Dagmar,

Welcome to the forum.
Your english is o.k. Donn't be afraid to make mistakes. I do it all the time.
We can understand eachother even when the english is not always correct.

You have a lovely garden.

Lina.

Hi Dagmar! Your plants speak for themselves in all kind of languages. No need of a compiler to understand and admire your plants and garden ;)

May I point you in the direction of The Sedum Society.

Lots of information about your favourite plants in there.  And other members from the Czech Republic too.

Now here it is, nearly mid afternoon, and I'm supposed to be working today, but all that I have done is follow one plant-link after another, and the hours go by.  After taking a quick peek at those two Czech sites, I'll need to come back to them tonight, armed with Bing Translator in my Firefox browser, for a couple hours of succulent treats :D

Dagmar, that's a fine clump of Sempervivum 'Cmirals Yellow', one that isn't the easiest to grow well and have clump up; just look at all those offsets, yours is a very happy plant. Many web photos show plants grown under low light conditions so they don't color up as intense yellow as they should. Here's a Flickr photo of it that also comments about the difficulty keeping this plant happy, as well as showing intense foliar color.

Cmíral's Yellow is a plant for the penumbra. The plant also loves limestone. ;)

Dear Dagmara,
What a treat to find your posting on the Scottish website as well. I find posting pix here a bit slower than Facebook, but they do show up much better.
Will keep a lookout for your postings!
Senior curator at Denver Botanic Gardens, I have rock gardened for over 50 years. Faves include cushion plants, bulbs, troughs, South African and Mediterranean plants and the windy steppes of Asia. The American West. (Oh yes, I love cacti, ferns and woody plants too...)
