Barking, maybe yes but not biting ;D
Had to look it up and it should be (Serpentine) or George Forrest?  :-\ I think at least one pic is from one of the best tree nurseries in Holland, about half an hour driving from my place.

Your not correct on the second name Luit. :( The first plant is indeed A.davidii, but what is the second? ???, and therefore what is the theoretical hybrid?  :D

Thanks Ashley for your help, and to everyone else who spotted my 'faux pas' but kept quiet,  :-[ :-[

Thanks Ashley for your help, and to everyone else who spotted my 'faux pas' but kept quiet,  :-[ :-[

After reading this, I lost the trail (partly due to my limited knowledge of English) :(  and the interest on this puzzle.

Today we have 9C and rain (typical Devonish weather ;)) so I am not going outside and I had a new look at the pictures and give it a new try.
The second pic is made in the Arboretum Wageningen and shows A. palmatum Nicholsonii and I am very sure that our good friend David N. might be pleased with the naming of an Acer davidii x nicholsonii.
That should be a nice plant with sturdy green stems topped with nice coloured leaves (in autumn)
You'll need some good imagination of course ;D ;D

Being a Yorkshireman I have to ask the question: Do I get a royalty on every plant sold? ;D

The only thing I can think of is Listera ovata, of which I received some plants two weeks ago. But being rather a layman on orchids though, this will probably be totally wrong :-\

For a very wet day, ::)

A small nursery holder decides to recycle old plastic plant pots. Eight used pots are needed to make each new pot. From 505 used pots, how many new pots can possibly be made in total?  ???
