Verbascum pulverulentum/ Hoary Mullein

I have a special "relationship" with this plant which is a rare UK native found mainly around Norwich where I studied in the late 70s. I'd love to be able to grow it. Can anyone help with seed?

I think it was this species I photographed in the dry garden at RHS Hyde Hall a couple of years ago:

I've a feeling this is one that might become a weed here as last year there were two giants north and south of the garden in the paddocks.

Surely this is one plant you won't be eating, Stephen ?  ... even allowing for it's hairy, hoary nature, the PFAF report is not exactly inviting....

This species grows spontaneously in my garden and everywere in the village, normally near roads. Once there were so many plants together that the powder from the leaves was flying away thanks to the wind and it could cause problems in the throat. Anyway it is a beautiful plant even that can even reach 2 meters high!

Note: By the way Stephen, if you are interested,  I also collected today Helichrysum italicum, Thymus zigis, Thymus mastichina, Lavandula stoechas and Santolina rosmarinifolia.

Well, the last time I ate knowingly (animal) meat was in 1977 at the time I developed my relationship to this plant. Therefore, I certainly don't need this plant as a tape worm cure, thank you... As I told you, I have a "history" with Hoary Mullein, a very very wise plant that I'd like to have around for advice....  OK?

Are you sure you haven't had some juicy aphid flesh or caterpillar protein in your veg diet, Stephen?
Last time I had a beer it did contain a raisin - but as beers  usually do not my best guess is it was something with wings
