this year my Urginea undulata started to bloom earlier..
the second photo is a Urginea ollivieri... someone know if it's a synonims of urginea fallax? because my plants look the same..

I didn't realise such small and delicate urginea species existed! How tall does the entire plant get?

the stem of U. undulata reach about 35-40 cm (13.77-15.74 inches), U. fugax and ollivieri are a bit smaller, only 25-35 cm (9.84-13.77 inches)
the leaves of U. fugax and ollivieri are grass like, instead the ones of undulata are wavy.. i haven't any photos of  U. undulata leaves, now they are resting, but you can search with google  to see how beautiful they are;)

Urginea maritima is nothing special in the warm Mediterranean contries, but is more difficult here in Denmark. It is only flowering after a warm dry summer, so I keep mine under glass.
There is no sign of Urginea undulata yet.

that's great that you are able to flower this in your conditions - even under glass! It would be the equivalent of me being able to grow meconopsis but I would need to use a fridge!

thanks for the info - yet another genus for more investigation! U. undulata is possibly in Australia already as it's on our "allowed list" for seed importation so someone must've imported it already.
