Hello everyone,
Being the Betty Clark mentioned above, and the breeder of 'Twin Stars' I would like to clarify a few points. 'Twin Stars' was registered as N. triandrus var triandrus crossed N.b. viriditubus. Mike Salmond seed SB.204 back in 2000, and was registered in December 2003. It is not N. tenuifolius as stated previously. If there are any further queries I would be more than happy to answer them.

Hello, Betty, nice to "meet" you and a warm welcome to the Forum!
Sorry for getting the information about 'Twin Stars' wrong; I have had an contrite Jean Wyllie on the phone this morning, apologising for getting the parentage mixed up. Jean tells me that the buds are just opening on 'Twin Stars' and it should be out and looking good next weekend. Now, if I can just get her organised to take a photo for us...... ;)

No sooner had I made the request to Jean for a photo and said pic arrives; I was out at the BBC by that time, earning my sunday crust, so I only get around to this now, sorry Jean!

`Twin Stars' is a real honey. I've never seen it here either so I guess there aren't too many anywhere. Betty has done some lovely things with little daffs and this one I think is a winner because there's nothing even slightly like it so far as I know. Now that she has said what the seed and pollen parents are, perhaps someone working with the littlies may do the same cross with interesting results.
