Today our Friends in the  Vlaamse Rotsplanten Vereniging (Flemish Rock Garden Club) celebrate the first anniversary of the start of their Forum - congratulations from the SRGC F orum to our chums.... many of whom are also members here, of course. What a great year they have had for their forum.... they will surely go from strength to strength as the years roll by.

Maggi,

Nice pics over there, but they all speak foreign-like.  ;D ;D  A lot of familiar names there though.

Congrats to the forum, even if I can't read you.  ;)  The more gardeners, the merrier the world will be. 8)
Cheers.

Funnily enough, Paul, that's exactly what they say about this place.... nice pix but we all speak foreign like!

See how much we have in common? ;D
No wonder we gardeners all get on so well.... and it's not just because of a shared love of cake! ;) 8)

You left me speechless Maggi... (which doesn't happen all that often...  ;D)

Thank you so much for your warm whishes in the name of all the VRV members !

We are so proud we took up the challenge a year ago to try and follow the marvelous example of the SRGC forum !
It was a brilliant idea !  :D

Yes Paul, we do talk a "funny" language, but it's our own and for many people that's quite important... ;)

Maggi and Paul,

thank you very much for the B-day wishes.  :-* :-* We're very happy with our one-year-old.
It's very nice to see him growing every day.

Gongratulations .. I didn't know about this forum till today. I joined right away. I can read the language fairly well, ;) but I'm not so good at writing and talking.

Yemen, what a country ... Haraz mountains, Socotra, Sana'a, Hadramaut, the empty quarter.... a country of stunning, mind altering beauty...and the friendliest of people.

Luc,

And your language probably makes a lot more sense than English, where we have spelling and rules that regularly contradict other spelling and rules etc.  ;D

Glad your forum is going strong.  I can only imagine how bad I'd be at trying to pick up a language other than my native one, and then contribute usefully to it as you all do on this forum. 8)
Cheers.

Oh dear .... we missed the NARGS party..... certainly was a quiet affair .....perhaps we can have a better event when the weather improves?  ;)

The achievement of the VRV to get such a vibrant Forum after only one year with such a tiny overall membership as they have is really rather remarkable.
