Thank you friends for your greetings and best wishes. In fact, not one came through in my Inbox, due, I suppose to the problem which I had last week and about which, several Forumists gave me good advice. It was only when clicking on the birthday thread in the Index I realized there were some posts there I'd totally missed.

The problem is at last fixed and I realized late in the piece that I could delete a whole screenful of unwanted back emails by holding Shift down whereas I'd been doing a single click for each, with Control held down. I now have OOS or RSI to add to the other aches and pains. :'(

Thank you Fermi. You'll have a lot to catch up on when you get home from the UK. When will that be?

Three birthdays to celebrate today.... many happy returns to Oleg, Geir, and Richard.... but it is also St. Patrick's Day, so here's hoping the Irish are all having a good day, too!

Thank you, Maggy and Ian for the congratulation. The picture was wonderful. Unfortunately here no flowers, no robins (they don't stay for winter here). Blue tits and snow - yes. But soon, soon...
