One of my colleagues runs discos all over the country, usually at weekends. He was a DJ at an event up north where Billy Joel was the headline artist. The audience brayed for 'Uptown Girl', but her refused to sing it (acrimonious divorce?), so my colleague played it as BJ was walking off!

Good point, Uli,there are not many out shopping in this time.

We have altready seen the worrying consequences for nurseries in the snow... so perhaps  more work to clear the snow from glass and tunnels, eh?
