That's one of the few Chinese pinyon words that sticks in my memory; wo he pijiu!  Sorry, but I won't be anywhere close to Sichuan or Yunnan.

I haven't been lucky with the weather unfortunately, so there aren't many pictures worth posting... Fingers crossed it'll clear up once I reach Yunnan!

Nice one Arisaema!  Based on flower size, do you think it is beesianum or sikkimense? Thanks for thinking of me

Had any good pijiu?  Hankering for a Tsingtao myself.

Must be a form of A. sikkimense, I'm still too far north for A. beesianum. It basically looks like a blue-flowered A. forrestii, it's tiny.

...and yes, probably one to many on several occations
