?poppy ID
« on: June 19, 2010, 11:51:39 PM »
Today I was given a plant of what is supposed to be a poppy. Needle thin leaves and gorgeous four petalled, clean lemon flowers. It stands no more 6 inches 15cm

Did I take my camera to the open garden? No I stupidly forgot

When the swifts arrive empty the green house

Mark,

It sounds a bit like a variety of miniature Californian Poppy (Eschscholtzia (spelling? Eschscholzia     ???)) we have over here called Lemon Drops.  Pretty little lemon 4 petal flowers and fine thin foliage.
