we could only 2 day not make our trips - one day was heavy storm ( on this day we goes to a mill for olive oil )
the other day was rain ( mixed with snow ) - but on afternoon we could start .
We had luck we we walking with rain !
But it was really pretty cold ( in the mountains only + 2° )

Hans, thanks for the wonderful and wild photos of this region of Mallorca  :)  I'm amazed that a scorpion was out and about with all that wintry weather!

Can you tell me a little about Dranunculus muscivorus tucked into that rock habitat?  At least you saw signs of Spring with the lovely Narcissus tazetta growing so prolifically they seem to be climbing all over one another  :D

I love the old gnarled trunks of ancient olive trees and the silvery leaves that dance in the sun - when it's out  8)

I have never seen on Mallorca a scorpion before -so we are very glad !

To the Dranculus : I have this plants only seen on Cape Formentor - they grows on really rocky habitat ( full sun and windy ) they grows in fissures and holes of the calcy stones

The Narcissus grows on a not typical place high on the mountains ( on the top of a rock near the street ) - as we drive a second time in this area I could it not more found .....all was covered with snow !

Yes -the olive tree was very impressiv ....they must be very old ( maybe plantet from the arabian peoples )

An amazing change in the weather while you were there but, thankfully, it did not interfere with your enjoyment.

I found it interesting to see the Tracycarpus fortuneii as I grow it in the garden.
