Great report and photographs, Hans.An amazing change in the weather while you were there but, thankfully, it did not interfere with your enjoyment.I found it interesting to see the Tracycarpus fortuneii as I grow it in the garden.Paddy
Isn't this more likely to be the European or Mediterranean fan palm Chamaerops humilis?
