Happy Birthday Ian mcenery - hope you're having a great day!

I rather think he is, Gail.... had tea in bed this morning and was then off out  to the Cotswolds for lunch and a rootle around some "junk shops"..... I thought everything even approaching that description in the Cotswolds was called a quality antique emporium , but what do I know?  ;D

Oops! That would be a "rootle", my mistake ..... I am sure that that IS legal, in all the UK and quite a lot of other places besides!!
Rottling may only be legal in Rutland on alternate Thursdays when there is an "R" in the month..... ;D ;)

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and yes as a result our  visit to the "junk shops" I bought a trough and a straddle stone for the garden as a pressie to myself. Well someone had to do it  ::)
