Cyprus plant id?

I chanced across this plant recently in Cyprus growing on a road verge in the foothills of the Troodos mountains. I've scoured Blamey and Grey-Wilson but alas to no avail. I've attached 4 shots in the hope of getting an id.

Any ideas?

This is likely the wilted flower of Capparis (which species I can't say)--the caper plant.

Capparis spinosa according to Blamey-Grey-Wilson - congratulations Carlo.  It is grown commercially across the Mediterranean regions.

Thanks chaps for the id - the wilted flowers fooled me, especially since all the flowers on the plants had wilted and yet there were still buds awaiting to come out. I thought I'd found a rare plant - but should have known better since nothing rare grows along road verges in Cyprus (apart from orchids)
