Armin - I was very lucky to have any photos to post. :-[ :-[ :-[

Having made a few purchases ,I decided to sort them out to make it easier to carry them and left my camera behind on top of an electric supply station outside the show tent. I then went back to my car for my lunch and realised about an hour later that it was missing. I then went back to the place that I though I must have left it and was just leaving when someone shouted "are you looking for something" . It was a mini bus driver parked nearby who had been handed my camera by a passing lady and luckily he had been looking out for the owner.
My lucky day I think. :) :) :)

You were VERY lucky Eric. I left my camera on top of the tower at Sissinghurst in 1981. When I returned 6 days later it was still there!!!

I like the Disas best, though it must have been a great show for tropical orchid lovers.

Re DH. which of those men standiing behind him is his daughter? ;D

Quite extraordinary displays and excellent pix !!
The Disas seem to be really coming into fashion !

Good thing you got your camera back !  It would have been horrible to miss your Pleione pictures next season  ;) ;)

Luc , yes Disa are getting more popular. Mine are just struggling on with the odd flower, but I find it difficult to keep them away from soaking the Pleione get in summer as they will only tolerate rain water. So mine have to be kept under the benches in an isolated corner, which is not ideal.

I was very lucky to get my camera back which I would hate to lose now as it fits like a glove and am used to getting the best from it.

Talking of Pleione ,I wonder if anyone can spot the three pots of Scopulorum amongst my photos ?
I guess this should be in the Puzzles thread really. :-[ :-[ :-[
