I received some winged fruits of this plant a while ago, and it was told me that i should remove the outter layer of the fruit in order to help the seed to germinate. The problem is that when i was planting the seeds, i already opened 2 of those winged fruits and they seem hollow and totally empty inside. Is this normal? I didnt opened any more fruits because i am afraid to be killing the embryos. Could someone please help me with this? I really like this tree, and dont want to kill the rest of the fruits

How did you open the pods - I have found it impossible. I could send you lots of pods if you want.
I attach a copy of my tree, taken in Spring 2006.

you should have at least one seed inside. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies!
I have searched again for seeds and found none inside the pod. I guess i will plant the rest of the pods unopened, if there are any seeds inside, they will find a way out somehow (i hope). I am currently stratifying them, so let's see how it goes
art600 I will PM you
