Last week at Ferny Creek Hort Society we held a "Buy Swap Sell". One of the vendors, Craig Gardiner, specialises in South African Bulbs, especially Oxalis. Here's a pic of one of his trays

Last Saturday our local AGC Vic Group held its inaugural Plant & Flower Show combined with a conference "Flora of the Veld - featuring South African Bulbs".
We awarded the first medal in honour of our dear friend, Otto.
So the Rock Gardening world has now 3 F's - The Forrest, The Farrer and The Fauser!
It was won by the largest Cyclamen rohlfsianum I have ever seen, exhibited by our membership Secretary and Journal Editor, Helen Batty,

Thanks, Maggi.
And thank you for your help - I heard that Luca contacted you for advice about running our first Show! I liked to think that this one would be close to an Early Bulb Day as run by SRGC.
Here are some more pics from the day.
