Went with Dad to see the Slippers at Harlow Carr. Sadly they are re-developing that area and most of the plants are out of his reach, but we had a nice walk anyway.

Some nice Cypripediums now impossible to grow in our latitudes.

We will see more of this occur as impact of climate change increases. Sad but not a lot that we as gardeners can do about it.

On the other hand I can grow Himanthoglossum and some Ophrys now in the open garden, which was impossible 30 years ago ....

As gardeners we can adapt, the same does not apply to native flora.
