Had hoped to attend as the  David Welch Winter Garden is a splendid  venue  in  a  very good park but it's not going to be possible. All the best  with the  show.

Small but neat  Show in Aberdeen today.
The Forrest Medal for best plant in Shoe - the first of many, I'm sure, went  to Jim and Jill Cole-Hamilton of Fyvie for their beautiful Clematis  x cartmannii 'Joe'

Huge congratulations to this pair of relatively new exhibitors!!

In consideration for the Forrest Medal were the Clematis, a Cypripedium from Richard Green, a Lewisia henleyi and a Haberlea from David Millward.

Winners of Class B for six small pans were the Cole Hamiltons  with Armeria maritima, a Lewisia, Cytisus decumbens, Edraianthus glisicii a Pulsatilla and Oxalis 'Dark Eye'

This Primula, from Nick Boss, the doyen of natural growth style, won the Best Asiatic Primula.

3 pan entry, from, I think, David Millward, of a dodecatheon ( now a Primula!) a Lewisia Carousel hybrid and a Haberlea

Thanks to Ian Young for the photos!!
