Taubergiessen (a protected nature area near river Rhein)

Hi all ,

This morning we made a little walk to the Taubergiessen ( a protected nature area ) -it was the perfect time because there are a lot of flowering orchids .
Sorry but I'm not familar with the names - if anybody knows them ....

I have known this area for more than 20 years ( I have worked near and it was possible for me often to go there )

I didn't know you also had Lochs in Germany. Is that where we get our word from? Scots folk call our churches 'Kirk' as in German.

It means : Blue Hole ( in this part of the rivers Elz are wells which a strange physical quality - directly near the wells grows nothing and a little far are purple algaes .....) this is the reason for this name !
I think the similar language is why have lived in Scottland also celtic people ....

Dont worry David !!!

The fisherman from this area make tours with boats ( see my first pics ) -in some parts of the area is only possibly to go by boat ) .....and later they make a meal with grilled fishes ...beer + wine !!!

In my area all people loves good eating and drinking !!!
