The cancellation of so many flower shows and events around the country is necessary, but disappointing for those keen exhibitors - so we've started this thread for folk to show their plants that would have gone to a show - in hope this is cheering.
A reminder too that not only SRGC and Forum members are welcome to post here - registration for the Forum is open to Alpine Garden Society exhibitors as well!
Come on, you may not be able to take your plants to a show , but you can show them here- to the world!!

That's a brilliant idea Maggi! Plus they don't have to ber perfect on the day of the show... just snap them when they are at their best.

Stan da Prato has started the ball rolling with pictures of the plants he was going to take to the Stirling show - he's posting them here:

Another from Sue and George - as with other things they do around their garden, they're not doing their DIY show with half measures!!

This, from Bernd Sommer, is growing in the ground but it's a "Show" plant for sure .....

Here is my Allium Paradoxum 💚
I picked up the bulbs from a fellow AGS member last year & delighted with how they are doing!

Some plants that might have made it to the show:
Hepatica Millstream Merlin (now in a 10" pot)
Hepatica Touryoku
Primula Jackie Richards
Primulas Broadwell Milkmaid, Clarence Elliott and Moonlight
A couple of Hepatica accutiloba and a wee japonica.

We all had to stay in our frames rather than go to Dunblane on a lovely day out. Cassiope wardii, Corydalis schanginii ainae, Corydalis Beth Evans, Erythronium citrinum x oregonum and Erythronium tuolumnense wild type. More of our friends in a minute, and wouldn't it be nice if our human could take a better photo!
