Honour for SRGC "old boy" forumist!
« on: April 14, 2019, 06:13:30 PM »
Long ago and  far  away, Riz Reyes (today still only  36 years  old) was an active  SRGC  forumist -  he is  now  very  busy  in the  USA with his  own business and  much else  horti concerned  besides! I was  delighted to read  that he  has  been given this  honour  from the  University  of  Washington Botanic  Gardens ........

Emerging Horticultural Professional Award to RIZANIÑO REYES

Given in the early stages of an individual’s career, this award recognizes significant achievements and/or leadership that have advanced the field of horticulture in America. First awarded in 2017.

I love a  bit  of  good  news!  And  in the  same  timescale that  Graham Gunn won a similar  award  , the  Roy Lancaster  Award, from the  RHS !!  http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=17101.0
