NORTH KELVIN MEADOW IS SAVED!
« on: December 21, 2016, 04:23:58 PM »
Dear forum members

I'm writing with the wonderful news which was announced today that North Kelvin Meadow and all its orchids have been saved from destruction. A huge thank you to all members you took the time and cared enough to either sign the petition or object to the housing developers planning application  :)

Further details of the news can be found here: www.northkelvinmeadow.com

Good luck with the meadow into the future. It makes one wonder who Governments represent, the "developers" or the public. This time the public. We need more influence all the time, not just one day every five years. You will no doubt have to keep scrub invasion under control.

Thank you Ian and Maggie, Christmas has come early! After an 8 year battle the campaign to save the meadow is finally over and its future can begin ...
