Narcissus July 2016
« on: July 01, 2016, 10:01:43 AM »
The tazettas have been out for a while and the hoop petticoats are going strong despite the winter's cold.
The first one is a "stray" - either a misplaced bulblet or a seedling which came up in someone else's pot ::)

The second is one of Lawrence Trevanion's raising and named after a noise made by one of his children when a baby: Gefk ::) ::) ::)

2 years ago I planted 3 bulbs of Narcissus romieuxii 'Craigton Clanger' and 3 bulbs of Narcissus romieuxii 'Craigton Clumper' outdoors....dug them up today to see how they had done and "the clanger" seems to be more of a clumper than "the clumper"

1) This little clump of hoop petticoats is supposed to be 'Tiffany' and 'Tarlatan';
2) nearby is a seedling which shows a lot of N. romieuxii influence
