"Greetings from a sunny nursery!
We had a very successful time at the Harrogate Flower Show.
It was lovely to see those of you who visited us there.

We're looking forward to seeing many more of you at Chelsea.
Our stand will be at GPG229 - i.e. in zone G of the Great Pavilion, so please do come and say hello.
And if you can't make it there, but would like to see our display,

From Kevock:  "Last call for orders for bulbs for the spring.... ....
A reminder that our Spring bulb catalogue is still online until the end of the month, so if you haven't yet ordered those bulbs you wanted, there's still time...
The bulb catalogue is online here and you can place orders until the end of July.
The bulbs will be delivered in early October, to bring colour to your garden early next year.

with our best wishes for the summer, now that it's at last arrived!
from Stella, David, Elea, Graham and all the team at Kevock."

News and  Autumn Catalogue from Kevock Garden Plants

"We do hope that you're enjoying this delayed summer as much as we are here on the nursery.

Our seeds have grown well this year, despite the damp summer here in Scotland!  So we're very pleased to be able to tempt you with several new plants we've not offered before, alongside many of our established favourites.

To see these exciting new plants in our catalogue, click here.

This year we're offering a much wider range of Meconopsis. These are the wonderful blue Himalayan poppies many of you saw in our gold winning displays at Chelsea, Harrogate and Gardening Scotland.
We now have an incredible range of these, many of them not available anywhere else in the country. For the true connoisseur we have a few Meconopsis punicea, quintuplinervia and cookei available on a first come, first served basis.

Meconopsis 'Huntfield'

We've also got the striking summer flowering Chatham Island forget-me-not, Myositidium hortensia,
as well as some wonderful later flowering alpines, including Gentians, Delphiniums and Cyananthus.

Myositidium hortensia

Gentiana asclepaedia 'Knightshayes'

These are just a few of the plants now available.  Do look at our catalogue here to see our wide range of alpines, woodland, bog and other hardy plants.  Don't worry, not all of their flowers are blue!  We also have an interesting range of rare trees and shrubs, many of which look stunning at this time of year, as we move into Autumn.

Change but no change!
Stella and David Rankin are delighted to announce that they have secured the long-term future of the nursery.
Elea Strang, who joined the team five years ago and has been sales supervisor, is the new owner, along with her husband, Frank.

Stella and David are not going away! They will work with Elea, and Graham, as manager, particularly on design projects and shows, two aspects they love. So the same people are here, but in different roles, with the same wonderful team and the same great range of plants. And we shall all be at the same shows.
Stella and David would like to thank everyone for their support over the years.

Look out for lots of exciting new ideas, developments and - of course - lots of new plants.
with best wishes for a colourful Autumn,

Elea, Graham, Stella and David.
