I've grown this plant as
Muscari chalusicum
but I think this may be wrong. I'd be grateful for any opinions.

If anyone still has them blooming, can you take a sniff? For science?
I just noticed that the local patches ARE fragrant, a curious almost medicine-y fruity fragrance. I never actually bothered to pick enough to get a whiff. Or am I just hallucinating?

Apart from the famously highly scented Muscari - macrocarpum , muscarimii etc, I find that the other, smaller types, from the ubiquitous "grape Hyacinths " which multiply so freely to all other muscari, and psuedomuscari species are pleasantly fragranced. Delightful bulbs indeed.
