Seeds sown Jan . 2015 from SRGC. Was expecting blue flowers? although some others do look blue in bud, is this still D tatsienense ? Very pleased either way.

Very nice  Lawrence- you have Delphinium tatsienense album - lucky you!  The Flora of China description only mentions the blue shades but I have seen plants of this album type at shows - and there is even a commercial strain(s) of seed available which includes whites, called either  D. tatsienense 'Mediterranean Seas' or 'Sky Lights'

Yes, i agree with Maggi. Iy is still the same species. We have had some plants which flower white too and people always want to buy them in preference to the blue ones. Some also are pale blue whilst others are darker.
