Golspie Queries
« on: July 06, 2015, 09:51:13 AM »
You know how it is.  Your camera is madly clicking and then when you get home you try and find out what you have taken.

I have 3 queries.  All pictures were taken on the edge of Loch Fleet after we had walked through the woods.

First one is very tiny and growing in the very wet marsh. 2 pics.

Second one was on the very edge of the grass round a pool.

The last query may be one or two plants I'm not sure and will happily let you experts decide.  Found in the same place on the edge of Loch Fleet.

Shelagh

First wee pink one is Glaux maritima, common name is Sea Milkwort I think, and the second is Triglochin maritima, Sea Arrowgrass.

Third one could be Spergularia media.

Thanks Ian.  Funny I managed to get these little things in perfect focus but couldn't manage the Lesser Twayblade we found in the woods.  Everyone blurred. ::)
