Didn't he reply to a post of yours on FB the other day, Mark?  So he seems to be "back"  after  holidays etc.

If previous years are anything to go by you'll be on the list and checked off when you arrive, no tickets needed.

Does anyone know if the patch will be open again ever ?
I can confirm...... The Patch will have an open day and snowdrop sale (almost certainly the last) in aid of the MS Society on Sunday 28th February 2016. Usual timings between 11.00am and 3.00pm. There will be no access on other dates/times. Many of the 'specials' were distributed or snapped up in 2015 but there should be some nice snowdrops on offer.

I don't think we've had a note of the Irish Snowdrop event at Altamont this year?

"The annual snowdrop gala returns to Ballykealey Manor and Altamont Plants on Saturday the 6th of February.
Our speakers this year are Jennifer Harmer, co-author of the Hardy Plants Society's booklet, and Colin Crosbie, who has spent 18 years at RHS Garden Wisley.
Nurseries on the day-Avon bulbs, Altamont Plants (hellebores from Ashwood, spring shrubs, snowdrops and many more), Coosheen Plants (snowdrops and spring bulbs).
Tickets are €70, including lectures, lunch, admission to bulb sale, guided tour and afternoon tea at Altamont Plants.
Accommodation packages also available.
Please contact;
Robert Miller, Altamont Plants, 0879822135, sales@altamontplants.com
Hestor Forde, Coosheen Garden, 0868654972, hestorforde@gmail.com   "

Anglesey Abbey have brought forward their Snowdrop Festival, it started yesterday (18th January).  During the festival you can take a guided tour of their snowdrop collection, which is not otherwise available to view.  Tours start at 2pm Monday to Friday and typically last about an hour.  There is no additional charge for the tour after you have paid for garden entry.  Each day there are 15 tickets that can be booked by telephone and 15 available at the desk.
Almost in Scotland.

There are 55 events listed in the Visit Scotland  Snowdrop Festival  for snowdrop gardens to visit.....

"Each year the Scottish Snowdrop Festival gathers together some of the best gardens and woodlands where you can see swathes of snowdrops, so that you won’t miss out on the arrival of these dainty little flowers – one of the most delightful signs that spring is on it’s way.
Many of the gardens are open especially for the festival, which runs from 30 January – 13 March, and can be entered for a small ticket price, a donation or for free."
