Possibly: I had heard a rumour that a snowdrop opening of The Patch was intended this year, this depends on the garden executors...

Our Snowdrops have arrived early!
New Dates for Snowdrop Days 2016

 "Due to the unseasonably mild weather our Snowdrops have arrived a little earlier than expected. Some have been in bloom for a month or more, and most are now either in flower or about to break bud. Therefore we have decided to bring our Snowdrop Days forward by two weeks, the new dates are 16 – 24 January.

Please note that course dates have also changed, see below.

Snowdrops take centre stage at the Garden in a stunning display showing their intricate beauty at
our first event of the year. These stars of winter will be unveiled in a fresh take on the traditional
Snowdrop Theatre, staging snowdrops as you’ve never seen them before.
Step into spring up to six weeks ahead of the rest of the country in the shelter of the Garden’s high
walls, where you can delight in the swathes of elegant dark grasses interspersed with the radiant
first flowers of the year. See over 70 different and unusual cultivars, many wild collected species,
and 10,000 Galanthus nivalis growing in drifts throughout the woodland accompanied by a unique
display of other spring flowers.
A selection of snowdrops and other winter flowering plants will be on sale in the plant marquee.
Our Growing Friends volunteers will be on hand to guide you. The Book & Gift Shop will be selling
themed gifts and the Tangerine Dream Café will be providing warming lunches and drinks.
Saturday 16 – Sunday 24 January 2016, 10am–4pm
Adults £10.50 Students (with student cards) and children 5-15 years £6.95
Free to Friends of the Garden. Maximum of two under 16s admitted per adult.

Hodsock Priory, near Worksop, Notts. Have open days when their snowdrops in the woods are in flower. There are usually plant stalls and refreshments as well. There is an entrance charge.

The next meeting of the SRGC Stirling Group on 13th January at 2pm has a talk by Katherine Erskine on 'Cambo Snowdrop Time & Summer Time'. It takes place at the Dunblane Christian Fellowship Hall (opposite the station) in Dunblane.
