Here are some pointers for “ Die Nettetaler Schneeglöckchentage 2016“
Ein Mekka der Pflanzensammler:
Nettetal.

Nettetal  - A Mecca for  the plant collector:

Again  in 2016, Nettetal in the Lower Rhine will become  a mecca for Galanthophiles from all over Europe. As one of the biggest snowdrop festivasl outside the UK, the Nettetaler snowdrop  days have become  for some  a  public attraction which   marks among German plants markets the first highlight in the garden calendar. Plant lovers from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France and England will convene  here to select from the wide selection of exquisite offers from dealers and plantlovers .  Well-known British snowdrop growers will again be on site and will be offering their treasures for sale. The family atmosphere has also traditionally been an opportunity to talk shop and exchange horticultural experience. The garden with the snowdrop collection of Günther Waldorf is also open during the day and visitors will be attracted to visit the extensive collection.
Nettetaler Snowdrop Day 2016
on Saturday, 27.2. - Sunday, 02.28.2016, daily from 10 to 17h   etc.......    :)

See contact details in Rudi's post, above.

Have there been no Scottish visitors, then?

I imagine that similar conditions will apply as did last year - the  booking will first be open to Norfolk Plant Heritage Group members, before being  available to others, if any tickets are  still available  after that.  See this from last year : http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=12117.msg325651#msg325651

Norfolk Plant Heritage 30th January ...Anyone know how to get tickets?

Go to this page http://norfolkplantheritage.org.uk/Resources/PH%20Snowdrop%20Gala.2.pdf fill out the form, send it off (but call first to check availability).  I'm told that all Plant Heritage members are equal so Plant Heritage members from anywhere should get an equal crack at the tickets but might have priority over non-members.

If you cannot get tickets there's the Harvey's event instead.

So you need somewhere for the Saturday, Mark?  I think Jo (Hynes) has a National Collection of Cyclamen so must be a Plant Heritage member as Plant Heritage is the organization that administers the National Collections.  Maybe you need to join-up quick, if that's what it takes to get a ticket?  But Blacksmith's Cottage Nursery is East of Diss and no closer to the Plant Heritage event venue than it is to Roger Harvey's Nursery.

If you are in East Anglia then Anglesey Abbey near Cambridge is worth a visit but the hardened Galanthophile would want to take the tour of the collection and these only take place at 2pm on weekdays  (with tickets that can be booked in advance).
Almost in Scotland.

Happily the PH event is well booked with the minimum of advertising (although it was on here first after the local group) a waiting list having been opened, as you can see on that page it does say "Please email for availability" so that Kathy can let you know what the situation is.  The Hall was visited on Friday for 'measuring up' so that we know exactly how many can be accomodated for lunch as well as plant sales...I know no more.

As this is an event primarily for Norfolk Plant Heritage members initially they had priority until October 30.  After that the event was opened up to other Plant Heritage members and the general public.  Anyone who wants to book tickets now needs to contact Kathy Gray as I have just removed the link to the booking form on the website. (ie the one in the quote)

Kathy has just told me that we are fully booked and any further enquiries will have to go on a waiting list.  Should be good!
