Dima, that is a beautiful drop with the upturned petals. Good luck with it as I think it to be fairly unique in G. nivalis.
I also enjoyed seeing your tulip formed G. peshmenii, Hagen. A lovely form.
Gerard, fun to learn that a G. plicatus has that petal form as well. A very pretty one there. Here is a shot of the same elwesii flower brought in the house due to predictions of much colder weather moving in. I like that it sprang wings as it matured! The apical mark was elusive and looked to be a definite 'w" shape, but that must have been in part a shadow, as it looks more like a more typical 'V' now.
