The Daffodil, Snowdrop and Tulip Yearbook
2014 is published in association with the

The new edition of this authoritative annual has a significant coverage of snowdrops including 15 colour pictures. Matt Bishop reviews the year’s U.K. snowdrop season. Paul van Leeuwen explains how the Dutch deal with snowdrop fungal diseases and Rosemary Newton et al discuss conservation and the sustainable use of snowdrops. John Page writes about G. peshmenii. There are also reports on three snowdrop events and a book review.

Available from Mr J Gibson, Dept NG, 14 Waverley Road, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN15 6NT.  Please send either a cheque for £9.50 made payable to the RHS or
€ 15.

Thanks to Matt Bishop for forwarding  news  of this offer.
I am sure that it is also possible for  devotees of Narcissus and Tulipa to purchase the yearbook !  ;)

Those Yearbooks are always excellent.  Do you know if editions from previous years are still available; I somehow missed getting the 2013 edition?

Oh I think I'll probably just send Mr Gibson two cheques for £9.50 in the hope that he can supply both the 2013 and 2014 editions.  I know he has stocked back copies in the past.

It is these large postal charges that the SRGC ( and others, of course)  have to cope with when posting out the journals etc to members. It is why the Club must now charge everyone for their seed allocation -  the necessity for which is something  which many don't seem to grasp  :-[

Where could I find an email address, where to inquire about the price if I order Yearbook to Finland? If I just send 15€ in a letter that may not be enough..

As a newbie member of the forum can I just clarify the special offer to Snowdrop enthusiasts or daffodil and tulip ones for that matter, the price of £9.50 includes postage to UK addresses, the price to Europe is £13.50 or 15 Euro's. Recently we have added the current yearbook and the past three years books to our website johngibson-daffodils.co.uk where they can be ordered and paid for through PayPal

Thanks, Mark, I've given that web site a go so can report back if there are any problems.

I also looked at the bulbs but could not find even one that was not marked as 'Sold Out'.

Bit late in the season to be buying bulbs. Most nurseries will have replanted surplus stock by now, which is probably why they're out of stock.
