Great Plug for the Forum

Reading todays Daily Telegraph and Matt Bishop has a super article on Galanthus and he gives the SRGC Forum a terrific plug and thumbs up.

 I quote " I travel regularly to Europe, and I spend a lot of time on the internet bugging people for information - the Scottish Rock Garden Club Forum is fantastic."

 But i have to say, Daily Telegraph,when you do an article on SNOWDROPS,please don't show a lovely picture of SNOWFLAKES(Leucojum vernum).It just sloppy journalism..........

As someone who has photos at the Alamy stock site, I'm afraid you can't blame the photo library. Photographers are responsible for keywording their own images in order that they can be found by picture editors' searches, so this is one the photographer got wrong.
I do however have sympathy with the photographer who will probably not be a gardener also, I find the whole keywording process mind-numbingly tedious.

I can well believe it is a tricky process in many respects, Peter  - if the use is to be maximised then you will have to try to work out all the possible uses/relevant aspects to be listed - so pretty tricky if you don't know what it is you're taking pix of in the first place.
